Thirsty

Are you parched? Are you thirsty and weary? God has a scripture to encourage you and remind you that His promises are true!

Psalm 63:1-3 NLT
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. [2] I have seen you in your sanctuary and gazed upon your power and glory. [3] Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!

Are you tired? God is with you, our prayers even wordless sighs are understood by our God!

Romans 8:26-28 MSG
Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

Are you overwhelmed? You are in great company; Moses was overwhelmed as was David! Jeremiah and Isaiah felt stressed out.

Isaiah 61:10-11 NLT
I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God! For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness. I am like a bridegroom dressed for his wedding or a bride with her jewels. [11] The Sovereign LORD will show his justice to the nations of the world. Everyone will praise him! His righteousness will be like a garden in early spring, with plants springing up everywhere.

God met each of these men of faith where they needed His wisdom, strength and courage.

God filled their weaknesses with His strength when they humbled themselves into service for His Kingdom.

1 Corinthians 15:42-43 NLT
It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. [43] Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.

Do you feel weak and exhausted by life circumstances? He wants you to call out to Him; He is Jehovah Jireh (our Provider).

Romans 8:26-28 NLT
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words. [27] And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. [28] And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

Did you know you are a child of God? When you ask Jesus to be your Savior and accept Him as the authority of your life, you are given His inheritance, because of His grace and mercy and His love on the cross! The resurrection of Jesus Christ made a way for each of us to have His inheritance. Jesus is the bridge between God and His children, us!!!

Romans 8:30- 39 [30] And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory. [35] Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? [36] (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) [37] No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. [38] And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow-not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. [39] No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Nothing can separate us from Jesus, our victory is in Christ alone. Amazing revelation from our amazing unconditionally loving Jesus!
