As I took this photograph of the Mt. Baker Mountain range, I was in awe of the majesty found in God and His creation. His goodness and strength is unfathomable. He is the solid rock for our life. All wisdom comes from Him.
Matthew 7:24-29 AMP “So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, will be like a wise man [a far-sighted, practical, and sensible man] who built his house on the rock. [25] And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. [26] And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them, will be like a foolish (stupid) man who built his house on the sand. [27] And the rain fell, and the floods and torrents came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and it fell—and great and complete was its fall.” [28] When Jesus had finished [speaking] these words [on the mountain], the crowds were astonished and overwhelmed at His teaching; [29] for He was teaching them as one who had authority [to teach entirely of His own volition], and not as their scribes [who relied on others to confirm their authority].
Seek the guidance of Your Creator God for your steps. The journey may have trials and forks on the trail of life. But you will not walk alone. No other words needed.
I am doing a mini study on the phrase “Only You”. when I ponder this phrase I realize that I must reflect this action. Only you? I make the choice to move in the authority of Christ who is in me. Only the Lord, He gives me the capacity to be strong and courageous as the Lord did for Joshua.We must be strong and courageous but not in our own abilities but in the power, might and authority of our Lord.We need to keep our focus on God. Wars raged in his times and they still rage today.
Joshua 1:7-8 AMPC Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. [8] This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.
Joshua 1:9 AMPC Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
These are powerful scriptures to remind us that His promises follow each of His children. Only you can start the process of transformation by submitting to God. His Word declared aloud brings us the voice and hearing to claim its promises for our families.
Another important preparation for our next level intimacy with our God requires our action. Job 11:13-20 describes how we can prepare our hearts and hands to Him.
Job 11:13-20 NLT “If only you would prepare your heart and lift up your hands to him in prayer! [14] Get rid of your sins, and leave all iniquity behind you. [15] Then your face will brighten with innocence. You will be strong and free of fear. [16] You will forget your misery; it will be like water flowing away. [17] Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning. [18] Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. [19] You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help. [20] But the wicked will be blinded. They will have no escape. Their only hope is death.”
We need to access the promises of God. We need to meditate on His Word, again declaring it aloud. Repeat aloud Job 11:13-20. Repeat over and feel the declaration change the atmosphere in your home.
Psalm 25:5-6 AMP Guide me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You [and only You] I wait [expectantly] all the day long. [6] Remember, O LORD, Your [tender] compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old.
For only with the Lord guiding and teaching us His truth can we in expectancy be changed from the inside out. We can open ourselves up to a deeper understanding of His goodness, compassion and grace. He is a just God who wants our active participation in relationship. We must move into His arms, His truths, and be given more hope as our reward.
Psalm 25:7-10 AMP Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O LORD. [8] Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. [9] He leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way. [10] All the paths of the LORD are lovingkindness and goodness and truth and faithfulness To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
If only we would worship and bow down to Him. Kneeling before our Lord, our maker! He is our shepherd, we are His sheep, the flock under His care.
Psalm 95:6-7 NLT Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, [7] for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!
He who made the heavens and earth wants you to take steps on the Rock, when we look to the mountains, we see majesty, firm foundation and endless beauty. He is the Rock on which we must stand. ( paraphrase Psalm 121)
So only you can make the decision for yourself! Your parents, families faith in Jesus may have or have not brought you wisdom in religion, however, there is a reason we each need to personally seek the Lord, Jesus. It’s a one to one partnership of wisdom, grace, mercy, comfort, help, hope, direction and peace. Ask Jesus and receive a bountiful reward. It is not only for you but for generations behind you.
Matthew 7:8 NLT For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Who would’ve thought a lonely, dung beetle would be able to share a life lesson with a human.
A friend of mine sent me a video as she was taking her morning walk in a Texas town. She came up on a Dung beetle!! It was struggling to make its way up, an incline, black, tar road of a small highway. Before its’ body was a small ball of horse manure. At times, the ball of manure would roll back on the beetle, then it would use its God created larger front legs to maneuver it forward.
According a video by science.org , the dung beetle is the strongest insect on earth, able to pull 1000 times+ its weight.

What you see in this photo is a ball of brown manure, it didn’t start out looking that way, but this dung beetle had determination. The dung beetle decided to grab a little manure and continue on its way, it rolled the manure on the hot Texas road.
Where was it going and why was it gathering manure from another location to bring it to across the highway?
How does it compare to human life, I don’t know about you, but there are times when I wonder; why do I pick up someone else’s situation; chaotic relationships, conflict or narcissism or whatever it may be my heavy load of life. Why did I decide that I’m supposed to push others situations up the hill? I am like a dung beetle, are you?
God tells us that he gives us enough for this day and we’re not to worry about tomorrow. His word reminds us that he wants us to reach out to him and ask for his help.
Matthew 6:25-26,31-34 NLT “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? [26] Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? [31] “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ [32] These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. [33] Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. [34] “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
The Lord God wants us to let Him guide us with whatever it is, we’re pushing up a hill. But do we remember to let Go and let God, especially when we are in our most exhausted place. Sometimes we lean into our God,sometimes we don’t!
We have to let the Lord carry the load. Sometimes it’s hard to love others or understand their ways. God knows about all things. With Gods’ wisdom, you could learn to love your soul mate/ boyfriend/spouse, love your kids, and love your relatives, extended family. But only God can help you carry a load.
I truly believe that if we realize this premise to go to God, first, He truly would provide what He provided for the Dung beetle: the strength and his perfectly created legs(?arms) for the struggle.
In the Bible, Jeremiah was feeling overwhelmed when the Lord called him to a purpose.
Jeremiah 1:5-10 NLT “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” [6] “O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!” [7] The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. [8] And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and will protect you. I, the LORD, have spoken!” [9] Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth! [10] Today I appoint you to stand up against nations and kingdoms. Some you must uproot and tear down, destroy and overthrow. Others you must build up and plant.”
Jeremiah 1:18-19 NLT For see, today I have made you strong like a fortified city that cannot be captured, like an iron pillar or a bronze wall. You will stand against the whole land- the kings, officials, priests, and people of Judah. [19] They will fight you, but they will fail. For I am with you, and I will take care of you. I, the LORD, have spoken!”
Just as God helped Jeremiah, He helps us with our struggles. We need to believe in His promises. Sometimes it takes determination, time and patience, but all things are possible with Him.
Just as a dung beetle is equipped with specific traits and strength so are we. We are created to do great things. He is a good,good Father!!
The new day has begun, your sweet cat meows loudly as he runs down the hall to awaken you. He is better than an alarm clock. His meow gains loudness, as you resist opening your eyes. After all, in the cats’ mind your lack of movement could be mortal.
Or is it a dog that paces the hall and jumps into your bed because he needs to be let outside for a bathroom break and food?Or a horse neighing awaiting its’ hay and grain?
The moment you open your eyes, stretch out your arms and say”this is the day, the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad”, your mind attempts to sabotage the good feelings. Rebuke that negative, anxiety filled liar ( the enemy) spewing fears. You make the choice how to begin your day, remember!
What thoughts overwhelm your mind? Is it the to-do list, appointments scheduled, relationship struggle that needs to get resolved, health issues, finances, or something else?
God wants us to give our days to Him. It is not easy for control freaks, I am one!! He wants our worries cast upon Him. (1 Peter 5:7). He cares about you.
Psalm 139:23-24 NLT Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. [24] Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
I need a reminder on occasion to hand over my swirling thoughts to my Jesus! Maybe you do too! God reminds us He wants our trust and for Our obedience to His plan. Our Lord loves us!
Psalm 33:20-22 NLT We put our hope in the LORD. He is our help and our shield. [21] In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. [22] Let your unfailing love surround us, LORD, for our hope is in you alone.
A renewed mind with past unhealthy coping skills needs an adjustment with God as the Master! We have to guard our hearts and minds.
Proverbs 4:23 NLT Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
A defining scripture for any day, any circumstance is found in Philippians 4:8-9. It defines a Godly focus to life.
Philippians 4:8-9 AMP Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart]. [9] The things which you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things [in daily life], and the God [who is the source] of peace and well-being will be with you.
Our pride and human reasoning does not bring anything close to Holy Spirit wisdom. We need help! Teach your sons and daughters to obey you, God! The battle starts in the mind.
2 Corinthians 10:3-5 NLT We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do. [4] We use God’s mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. [5] We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.
Bring all thoughts to God! Meditation on any one of the scriptures posted can daily bring the Word of God to your mind and change your swirling thoughts to peace with His truth,
So the next time your beloved animal awakens your sleep, give thanks to God who made your amazing bestie to bring a slice of love from Him.
Our peace is attainable through God alone! He gives us the capacity to move, breathe, and take each step of life. May it be well with you as you turn over your thoughts to the Master Bestie, the Holy Spirit!
Has your vision been blurry lately? Do you feel a sense of deep uncertainty, like there is a veil being placed over your eyes maybe even attempting to penetrate the mind?
It’s like a game of smoke and mirrors? One moment, we see an illumination of potential truth then the smoke blows in and we feel a bit tipsy. Perhaps it’s like drinking more than you can handle. Brain fog leads to less confidence in yourself and in the world.
The Bible tells us there will come a time when many Antichrists will vie for our attention. The voices of others may be speaking lies or half truths. How do we decipher the truth from a lie?
1 John 2:18 NLT Dear children, the last hour is here. You have heard that the Antichrist is coming, and already many such antichrists have appeared. From this we know that the last hour has come.
We must keep our minds meditating on what God, the author of truth speaks to our minds and souls. We can filter others words through His.
The Father of lies, the devil, wants us to be detoured from the plans of God.
God wants us to seek His wisdom for all things. There is supernatural peace when we do, our human minds can’t understand but are filled with His Presence.
Psalm 14:2 AMP The LORD has looked down from heaven upon the children of men To see if there are any who understand (act wisely), Who [truly] seek after God, [longing for His wisdom and guidance].
Smoke can be used to provide an illusion during a magicians act. When was the last time you went to a carnival or amusement park? Have you gone into the funhouse with its multiple mirrors and different distractions of unstable ground? As a kid, I found this ride to be a combination of fun and scary.
Our present times as parent, family member and friend can feel the same way. The difference is that this life is not an amusement park ride.
We must choose to seek the truth of God by accepting Jesus as our Savior and asking His Holy Spirit to be the guide of our lives. There is no other solution.
1 John 2:20,24-29 NLT But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. [24] So you must remain faithful to what you have been taught from the beginning. If you do, you will remain in fellowship with the Son and with the Father. [25] And in this fellowship we enjoy the eternal life he promised us. [26] I am writing these things to warn you about those who want to lead you astray. [27] But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true-it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ. [28] And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame. [29] Since we know that Christ is righteous, we also know that all who do what is right are God’s children.
We must teach our kids the same message. There is no other truth but following the one true God and His ways. Proverbs 22:6 is a great family scripture.
Proverbs 22:6 NLT Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.
As you step into your day, realize, you get to choose which life path you take. Drop the smoke and mirrors! It will get you no where but more confused.
Brooke Ligertwood, and her song “Authority” is such a power packed declaration of the authority of God in this world. So despite the attempt to smoke and mirrors to make you confused and feel a sense of chaos, seek the authority of God. One word from Him will change the course of your life and those you love. Trust Him today.
All authority belongs to the Lord. It’s not by our strength that things prevail. The battle is the Lord’s, our job is to submit to Him, believe His promises and declare them for ourselves and for those we love.
Joshua 1:8-9 NLT Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do. [9] This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Time has shown me that trials are not punishment from God. I was brought up with a legalistic religion that focused on the need to right every sin made. My inability to have children felt like a punishment for sin. However, that was a lie from Satan, I gained more insight into life as I turned my life over to His plans.
Mountains to climb
Life is filled with steep mountains to climb. We don’t have to go it alone.
My need to orchestrate my life, my career, my marriage, my potential family to be, left no room from God to be my one and only God. I was on the throne as my own God. What a thought.
Over time and trials, I am seeing how God has been molding my character and life by showing me the places I need to hand over to His plans. What do you need to hand over to God? Is it your health, your family or friend relationships? What is blocking your path to growing with Him?
Our trials bring us two options: we avoid His direction and love, which brings more fear and stress or we can bring our trials to Him and have His help for the journey. When we realize our inability to control anything in life and give it all to Him. He can work out His purpose.
If I have an unrepentant heart for past sins the enemy brings heaps of shame and guilt on our life over grace and mercy. Talk to God, repent of the sin ( my pride was an obstacle). Remove the obstacles to your relationship of love with Jesus.
Our trials may be the experience we need to realize how much God loves us and how much we need to be refined in the trial. I definitely learned, it is not about my plans but His.
“Jesus loves me” is a popular children’s song. The lyrics expressed that “when I am weak He is strong”, I wanted the yes, Jesus does love you, “the Bible to tell me so.”
We must seek relationship with God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit!
The more I broke free of the Spirit of religion, ( yes, it is a spirit from the enemy set to destroy our relationship with Jesus), by seeking God and His truths in scripture, the more I was amazed at how Jesus loved me.
You see, it has always been about Relationship with our Creator God, Jesus.
When we choose to submit our whole life to God, He brings more wisdom to equip our day. He brings more hope even if we or our loved one has cancer, or if we struggle to love ourselves, or are challenged by addictions, or mental health. We can not do life alone.
Hebrews 13:20-21 NLT Now may the God of peace- who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, and ratified an eternal covenant with his blood- [21] may he equip you with all you need for doing his will. May he produce in you, through the power of Jesus Christ, every good thing that is pleasing to him. All glory to him forever and ever! Amen.
Psalm 31:7 NLT I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.
Jesus, the answer to the broken relationship of human and God, brought restoration and repair to the broken covenant. What an amazing gift of Jesus to our broken world. We need Him. He died for us, even though we are sinners.
What love Jesus has for us, His Holy Spirit is a gift of wisdom. Jesus loves you, obey His call, accept His help.
John 14:16-17 AMP And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— [17] the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive [and take to its heart] because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He (the Holy Spirit) remains with you continually and will be in you.
Amazing grace and mercy is within our grasp, just open your heart, mind and soul!
Open you hands, bend your knees and bow before the only One worthy of all our worship, Jesus.
God does have good plans for us. We must act in faith, believe He will work for our good, even when things seem impossible.

And He will help you remember everything that I have told you. [27] Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
Are you tied up in knots? Do you long for happiness and peace? Is that your end goal… to be happy? It is a fantasy to believe we can get happiness from another person, a circumstance, or words from another.What has your heart? What is your idol?
I know it sounds cynical. I am just sharing what God is revealing to me. Our happiness is emotion, our emotion fluctuates. It is unstable. Did we get enough sleep, did we eat healthy today? Did we spend time with God or just run out the door without giving Him a second thought? If it is not social media, what has your heart? Are we seeking happiness from scrolling on social media? (This is a dead-end coping mechanism that the devil uses to bring discontent.)
B.U.S.Y = Being Under Satans’ Yoke I have heard this anachronym before. It is an obstacle to our time with our Creator Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The enemy wants to cause us to stay fixed on social media. When we stay stuck in this cycle, we feel trapped by time and forget what God says in His Scripture.
So untie the knots of social media, the cultural narratives, and the distractions of comparison traps. Social media can be used for good things such as sharing faith in Jesus, along with spreading love and lessons learned. It can be an amazing source to spread the gospel message of grace, mercy, hope, and forgiveness.
Social media can also be a trap of time. How many of us have found ourselves looking at the time we spent scrolling? Next thing you know hours have passed. We feel spent with more negative emotions and unfulfilled.
Doesnt it make more sense to spend time getting the wisdom to guide our steps? Seek the peace and wisdom from God.
Time to change your routine: Here is a solid truth from Psalm 34. Meditate on each scripture. Speak it aloud for 30 days each morning before you get out of bed. Start your day in His truth with His promises. Decide for yourself the trajectory of your mindset for His plans over the World plan. I plan to make a change in 2024 personally. What do you have to lose, challenge yourself with a 30-day fast from social media!

Dont be a slave of social constructs, find freedom in fixing your mind with Christ!! Be open to a makeover. Let Him revive your heart! A new year brings new promises for a new life. Worship the Lord with your time, your heart, mind, and soul. You will be rewarded with more peace beyond understanding.
Proverbs 3 (MSG) 1-2 Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you; take to heart my commands. They’ll help you live a long, long time, a long life lived full and well.
3-4 Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty. Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart. Earn a reputation for living well in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.
5-12 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track.
We are like this china cup! We are fragile, we are broken by life but the gold glittered glue that can hold us together is our Creator God! He wants to use the cracks to draw us closer to Him so He can put the pieces together. Our refining is our testimony of His plans and purposes. Run to Him for the help and wisdom.
Make us a vessel for Your Kingdoms purpose, Father, Son, Holy Spirit! Pray to Him before you get out of bed. Father God, Jesus and Holy Spirit, mold me and make me more like You. Orchestrate my words, my steps and actions. Bring Your power, might , wisdom, and truth. in Jesus Name, Amen!
Psalm 40:1-3 AMP I waited patiently and expectantly for the LORD; And He inclined to me and heard my cry. [2] He brought me up out of a horrible pit [of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay, And He set my feet upon a rock, steadying my footsteps and establishing my path. [3] He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear [with great reverence] And will trust confidently in the LORD.
Submit to His transforming power, be transformed into what He already knows you are called to be.
Hebrews 4:8-16 MSG And so this is still a live promise. It wasn’t canceled at the time of Joshua; otherwise, God wouldn’t keep renewing the appointment for “today.” The promise of “arrival” and “rest” is still there for God’s people. God himself is at rest. And at the end of the journey we’ll surely rest with God. So let’s keep at it and eventually arrive at the place of rest, not drop out through some sort of disobedience. [12-13] God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what. [14-16] Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.

He has great plans. Take the mercy, accept the help from the One who knows you best! Take the free gift of new life, be a new wine skin, filled to overflow by His anointing in the Holy Spirit. Be His vessel!
There is so many distractions meant to make us feel fear, despair, discouragement and anxiety. The foundations of our life are shaking. There’s flashing lights in one direction. There’s darkness in the world, there’s chaos in leadership, there’s even attempts to cause fear over logic.
We have been given a sound mind, we must use it for truth!
Our eyes see an uncertain world, our bodies feel an unknown shaking, our feet feel the ground move. It’s kind of like feeling the ground shake, and not knowing where the earthquake comes from. Our uncertain feeling brings heartache and we feel ourselves distract from our focus on God to focus on circumstance.

I suppose it’s no different than having a teenager get a drivers license or even before that happens, passing a permit test and teaching your teen how to safely drive in a road full of cars. The potential problems of road rage, distracted driving of others, or your teen are possible. The use of alcohol or marijuana or any other drug is a hazard that we pray does not affect our family.
The Bible reminds us through scripture to fix our eyes on him and his plans and promises.
Proverbs 4:20-26 NLT My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. [21] Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart, [22] for they bring life to those who find them, and healing to their whole body. [23] Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. [24] Avoid all perverse talk; stay away from corrupt speech. [25] Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. [26] Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path.
So where is your focus? Is it on the circumstance, the future of the world, the chaos in relationships?
Philippians 4:8-9 NLT And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. [9] Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me-everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
The only way we can have a peace that surpasses all understanding is trusting in the God who knows the future. Despite the flashing lights, despite media, despite the anxieties and fears of the world, despite the darkness: He is the Alpha and Omega! He is the beginning and the end. He is el Shaddai, He is Elohim! His Word is life not death and darkness. His word is hope despite what we see.
So when the ground is shaking, your mind is overwhelmed, hold onto Scripture truths to meditate on bring peace:
Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Isaiah 40:28-31 AMP Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become tired or grow weary; There is no searching of His understanding. [29] He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power. [30] Even youths grow weary and tired, And vigorous young men stumble badly, [31] But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] Will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, They will walk and not grow tired.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 AMP For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. [12] Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] and I will listen to you. [13] Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
Our endurance can be built on our faith in God. One of my first memorized scriptures is from Romans. Let your endurance be built in the same way. Focus on the Lord!

Anne Wilson’s song, “Strong” is an anthem of faith and trust in God despite circumstances. Let it be a great melody of your faith in Him.
Created from the dust, Adam was created by our Creator God! We are his descendents, we are dust! Just as the Lord breathed His breath of life into Adam, The same Creator God breathes life into us.
Deep breath! Go ahead take another deep breath! Breathe deep and slow to 4 counts! Now slowly release that loving lung filled oxygen, to a count of 7. Clear out the crud you may have been fighting to clear ( just like me this month), deep breathe and clear out the clogged bronchioles.
Awe, feel the awe of a cleared mind by a cleared lung. We have work to do. He knows how weak we are, He breathes His strength to heal.
Psalm 103:13-19 NLT [13] The LORD is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. [14] For he knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust. [15] Our days on earth are like grass; like wildflowers, we bloom and die. [16] The wind blows, and we are gone- as though we had never been here.
The wind blows, our days on earth are unknown. What are you doing with your time?
17] But the love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children [18] of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments! [19] The LORD has made the heavens his throne; from there he rules over everything.
He made the heavens and the earth! He made all things. He is faithful to His children. He is faithful to those who obey His commands. His love extends to those who fear Him, in reverence and awe.

Brooke sings, “Lift up your voice if God has called you to, He will give you supernatural power to do the work He calls you to do”. The Word of God supports this promise from our Creator God.

He knows we are weak, He gives love unconditionally, let me say it again, His love remains forever with those who fear Him (respect and honor)! Praise Him alone!
2 Corinthians 4:5-7 NLT [5] You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake. [6] For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. [7] We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
2 Corinthians 4 reminds us, we are fragile clay jars but contain a great treasure. Our great power comes from God! Plug into the source of all Light and illuminate His power as you walk in His ways!
